How can I volunteer?
Thanks for asking! We need volunteers in the months leading up to the event and also on the day-of. Float construction happens June through October and can include wood working, electrical, painting, sewing, and general DIY fabrication. During the parade, we need volunteers for setup, crowd management, cleanup, and more. If you are interested in pitching in, please fill out our volunteer form.

Can I be in the parade?
Applications for the 2024 parade are closed but you can still fill out our volunteer form to be involved the day of the parade!
I’m a food vendor/artist/shop. Can I apply to have a booth at the festival?
All artist and vendor positions are full for 2024. We hope you can still join us the day of the festival.
How do I enter the Kiddie Costume Contest or the Doggie Costume Contest?

When is the festival and parade?
Our event takes place every year on the Saturday before Halloween. Please visit the event info page for this year’s date and time.
Where is the festival and parade?
The Anaheim Fall Festival takes place along Center Street in the heart of downtown Anaheim and concludes with the Anaheim Halloween Parade, which steps off in downtown and winds its way westward. Please visit the event info page for more information.
Where can I watch the parade?
The parade starts at the intersection of Anaheim Blvd and Broadway. It heads north on Anaheim Blvd, makes a left turn to travel west for the length of Center Street Promenade, and then exits left onto Harbor Blvd. Once it meets Broadway again, the parade turns right to continue down Broadway to Walnut, where public viewing ends. Free public viewing is available on city sidewalks along this route. Lighting is brightest along Center Street Promenade, which is also open to the public. How long is the parade?
The length of the parade differs each year based on participation, but generally you can expect it to last longer than an hour and not longer than two hours.
Are there announcers?
We’re proud to have two teams!
- A Spanish language announcer the Lemon St. Stage at the intersection of Center St. Promenade and Lemon St.
- An English language announcer at the Main Stage at the intersection of Center St. Promenade and Clementine St.
Keep in mind, though, the parade is great community fun even if you’re not sitting in earshot of one of the announcing teams.
Where can I park?
Public parking is available in marked structures near downtown and parking on non-permit public streets may also be available along the route. PLEASE NOTE: Spaces fill up quickly. Be sure to keep an eye out for signs specifying which roads will be closed for the event itself. Please visit the event info page for this year’s date and time.
What else should I know about viewing the parade?
The parade route is about 1.5 miles long.While it does get crowded, you should be able to find a spot for great viewing. PLEASE NOTE: Much of the route is along a residential street. Please be a respectful neighbor! Stay off planters and lawns and do not litter to help make the event a great experience for everyone.
Who puts on the festival and parade?
The Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade is put together in partnership with the City of Anaheim and a local non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers.
