The Anaheim Fall Festival takes place along Center Street Promenade in the heart of downtown Anaheim and concludes with the Anaheim Halloween Parade, which starts at the intersection of Anaheim Blvd and Broadway and proceeds down Center Street Promenade and Broadway. This hometown tradition is run entirely by local volunteers who come together each year to celebrate Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos, and the Harvest Season. Jump to:

Parking

The following parking structures provide convenient parking for both the festival and the parade. Please note that there are many road closures the day of the event. Please note any special directions and pay attention to road closure signs!

There are also many other parking garages and surface lots in the area around the festival and along the parade route. You can also park in neighborhoods along the parade route, however some streets do have permit only parking.

Public Transit

The area around the festival and the start of the parade are serviced by many routes of the OCBus with stops along Lincoln Ave, Anaheim Blvd, and Harbor Blvd. Look for the following routes when planning your trip:

  • 43 Fullerton – Costa Mesa
  • 47 Fullerton – Newport Beach
  • 42-42a Seal Beach – Orange

Note that some routes may end service before the end of the parade so be sure to check the schedules and trip planner on the OCBus website!

Scavenger Hunt

You could be entered to win 2 tickets to Disneyland!

Celebrate our 100th with the Festival Scavenger Hunt! Throughout the festival area there are 6 treat stops near a float. Get a passport and any treat stop; find all 6 treat stops and hand your stamped passport to a volunteer and your will be entered to win 2 tickets to Disneyland! The first 100 visitors to each treat stop will receive a special treat! Limited to the first 5000 participants.

Kiddie Costume Contest

Children, ages 12 & under, are welcome to join us in their best costumes! We also have a category for best family group costume. The family should consist of up to 4 members & at least 1 child (infant to 12 years old). The contest is limited to 300 entries, accepted on a first-come, first-entered basis.

Grand prize is 2 tickets to Disneyland! Also prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

Doggie Costume Contest

  • Must register dogs between 3:30 and 4pm near the second stage at Lemon St & Center St. Promenade.
  • Contest will begin at 4:30pm.
  • Each entry will be assigned a number for judging
  • Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length at all times.
  • Locking/retractable leashes must also be no more than 6 feet.
  • Dogs attending need to be comfortable with crowds, loud noises, close contact with people and other dogs.
  • If a dog becomes unruly, staff reserves the right to ask the dog and owner to leave in the interest of safety to other participants and guests.
  • All dogs must be licensed and current on vaccinations.
  • For safety, only dogs may participate at this event. Please do not bring cats or other type of animals to enter in the contest.
  • Please be mindful of your dog and their need to relieve themselves. If you need a “Potty bag” please bring one. You will need to provide your own water for your pet.
  • Contestants may not be related to the judges. They may show their dog but not participate in contest judging.
  • The decisions of the judges are final.
